TheraCare Community Center provides a full array of clinical, educational, and social services for all residents of south Florida.
Behavioral Health Services
Each day, TheraCare provides services to several children and families who have experienced the trauma of abuse and neglect and/or may be in need of behavioral health services. Our services aim to protect children, support adults, preserve families, and achieve permanency and stability for the community in our care. Only through the support of our generous funders and donors can we successfully achieve our mission. Please join us in our efforts to help our communities.
Educational Services
The educational programs of TheraCare utilizes many educational resources, instructional methods, and materials from a variety of selected State, national, local and private sources. TheraCare Community Center's education services department is designed to provide clients with a solid foundation for their further educational experience. A phonetic approach to reading is used with our primary clients. Emphasis is placed on the basics of reading, creative writing, mathematics, science and history to secondary and post-secondary clients.
Social Services
TheraCare's social services focus is to provide our youth, adults, and families with the support and resources necessary to enable the psychological, physical, social and emotional growth needed to prepare them to live a productive and satisfying life. The program supports opportunities for youth to develop their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive abilities and to experience achievement, leadership, enjoyment, friendship and recognition.
