Bringing Mental Health to the Big Top 2016 Gala

TheraCare's 2016 Gala is TheraCare Community Center’s largest annual fundraising event of the year. Each year, TheraCare’s Gala involves a theme that has guests thrilled to return year after year for a new ambiance of fun. Individual tickets and tables have sold out early for the past three years, therefore don’t wait! On behalf of TheraCare’s Board of Directors, we invite you to join us for this exciting evening by supporting us in helping all people with exceptionalities experience a new life, a new perspective, and a new path to embrace. The Tortoise and The Hare Walk-or-Jog-or-Runathon

"Your Finish Defines the Race" is the mantra that defines the focus of TheraCare Community Center's The Tortoise and the Hare Walk-or-Jog-or-Runathon. The event is a 5K (approx. 3 mi) walk held at a local park for the awareness of individuals and children with special education eligibilities, an Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral health challenges, and all others who are exceptional (which is everyone). TheraCare Community Center's goal is to bring awareness and encouragement to the community in hope that we will embrace those of us with exceptionalities.
TheraCare Community Center becomes a provider for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities

We are a State of Florida Agency for Persons with Developmental Disabilities, a Medicaid Waiver-funded program where all consumers or potential consumers must be receiving services through the Medicaid Waiver. Amazing Space Supported Living Homes has carefully selected staff and professionals, we have assembled an awesome team of service providers who currently rate high at the top of their profession.

TheraCare Community Center becomes a vendor for Vocational Rehabilitation

We are a State of Florida Agency for Vocational Rehabilitation that provides services to persons with disabilities to help them find and/or maintain employment. All individuals are eligible to receive services including a Vocational Evaluation, Employment Services, Supported Employment Services and On-The-Job Training Services, Psychotherapy, Speech and Language Services, Tutoring, Personal Care Assistance, and Nursing. We have carefully selected staff and professionals, we have assembled an awesome team of service providers who currently rate high at the top of their profession.
