Vision
TheraCare Community Center will promote academic and social excellence for all children, adolescents, and families in a supportive and cooperative environment which encourages mutual respect for persons from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds. Furthermore, we at TheraCare Community Center believe that a caring, safe, and positive environment of mutual respect that promotes active learning along with continuous, rigorous and relevant educational programming will achieve that goal. Combined with identifying needs and, in turn, developing and delivering quality behavioral health services through unique and innovative programs, fundamental growth and success can be achieved in the community.
Mission
TheraCare Community Center will support the unique needs of its clients as they mature educationally, physically, culturally, emotionally, intellectually, and socially on the path to reach their full potential. All staff, clients, and families will work cooperatively in an atmosphere of mutual respect to help each individual reach their optimum academic and social potential in a safe, respectful, and widely diverse learning community through a broad range of behavioral healthcare, educational, and social services.
Purpose
It is our purpose to be the premier provider of accessible, cost effective, and quality behavioral healthcare, educational, and social services to the residents of South Florida.
Focus
To ensure the viability of our programming with a variety of funding streams (e.g., local, State, and federal). To employ and retain a full array of talented, ethical professionals from diverse backgrounds who will experience professional gratification and growth. TheraCare Community Center will offer opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of its employees through continuing professional education.
